Mr Apple is New Zealand’s largest grower, packer and exporter of apples. We focus on producing quality export apples for valuable customers around the world. We are a modern, innovative and vertically integrated company.

Our aim is to deliver the best apples to our customers and the best return to our growers.

Our apples can be found in some of the world’s great produce markets as well as leading supermarkets and department stores. Many like TESCO’s are household names around the globe. We are proud of the relationships we have with selected buyers worldwide.

During the harvest season our work force rises to over 1,500. Seasonal workers come from all parts of the world for employment - to enjoy the work and holiday in the Hawke’s Bay sun.

We grow on our own orchards over 2 million cartons each year, choosing 75% of the best apples for export markets. Throughout Hawke’s Bay we have fourteen orchards (the largest produces 350,000 cartons each year), three packhouses (which pack 2.5 million cartons of apples each year) and one coolstore.

Organic Apples

Organic apples are grown on five of our orchards. A dry Hawke's Bay climate provides ideal growing conditions for over 250,000 cartons of prime organic apples every season.
