Who can work for Mr Apple? There are several ways you may be able to work for Mr Apple in New Zealand.
Working Holiday Scheme (W.H.S.)
The Working Holiday Scheme offers an opportunity for young people between 18 and 30 years of age to experience life in New Zealand on a working holiday.
This scheme covers an agreement between New Zealand and many,another countries. It will allow you to work for Mr Apple for the entire fruit season. For some people there will be the opportunity to extend this period even further. You will need to apply while still in your own country.

Variation of Condition (V.O.C.)
Variation of Condition. This is a change of your New Zealand visitor permit or visa status so that you will be allowed to work temporarily for Mr Apple. This is only available when a labour shortage has been declared - at present it has not. If a labour shortage is declared, you would need to apply when in New Zealand and it needs to be accompanied with a job offer from Mr Apple. All managers of Mr Apple are trained to assist to help you with the application. There is a small New Zealand Immigration Services cost of around NZ$150.00 involved.
Skilled Migrant Worker Category
If you have formal qualifications in the Horticulture industry and wish to come and live and work in New Zealand. We are especially interested in field staff who have experience in tree and staff management.
